1 Draft a Clear Win Condition
Before you lock in your first hero, your team should already know how the game will be won. Are you planning to dominate the early game and finish before the enemy scales? Scale into a superior late-game teamfight? End the game via split-push? Without a shared answer, five individually strong heroes will struggle to execute against a team with a coordinated plan. A draft full of raw damage without setup tools struggles to land their abilities in actual fights; the right disables and positioning spells turn potential damage into guaranteed kills. When reviewing your draft, ensure you have at least one hero who can initiate fights reliably and at least one who can disable key enemies.
